Just going through the Brendan's custom types tutorial again

and when trying to upload an image for a photo, CF threw this error
(below).

Anyone seen this before and, if so, know what the cause / resolution is?
The server is running CFMX 6.1, without the most recent Updater. Is "ij"
something that becomes available when you update the underlying Java
version?
