I just moved a site from development to production and the admin looks fine showing all of my Objects and Recently added things. I can change Config File settings, the site tree loads up as expected, and just about everything else works in the admin.
The problem I have is that I don't have permissions to edit any more even though I am listed as a member of SysAdmin and the Permissions on the SysAdmin policy group are still all set to Yes. Also, when I hit view site the page never loads. apps.cfm and _serverSpecificVars.cfm look good.
