Hi Mike, I'm brand new to the FarCry team and I hope to be making several Oracle fixes over the next month or so. That being said, the best way to submit a fix is to send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Doing that will log the issue/fix in the FarCry issue tracker. It is best to use a descriptive subject in your email, and I would suggest something like "Oracle Fix: Test Security Setup" so that it can be easily identified in the issue tracker. For smaller one or two line fixes you can probably just describe the issue and fix in your e-mail, but for larger fixes you may want to consider making a patch file against the latest core in CVS and submitting that along with a description.
As I said, I'm new to the FarCry team, so Geoff and the other Daemonites may have another method (the entire fixed file as opposed to a patch?) that they prefer. If so I'm sure they will let us know. I should also say that I'm not sure what the time frame is on the 2.3 release, and so I'm not sure how many more fixes daemon wants to make in that release. It is my understanding that the 2.3 code is pretty stable, so they may not want to go make a lot of changes just before the release. If you submit solid fixes though I'll do my best to get them in...
