you can create two new nodes at the root level and give them an alias,
eg homeSite1 and homeSite2

Then in your calls to get nav nodes, instead of passing
APPLICATION.navid.home, pass
APPLICATION.navid.homeSite1 or APPLICATION.navid.homeSite2
