Out of the box FarCry has several policy groups for contributing and publishing. I'd like to limit publishers and contributers to their own departments. Do I set up permissions groups for each department's contributers and publishers or is there another way to flag the content for a department?
You need to set up contributing and publishing roles for each department -- assuming each department is going to have specific priveleges in the system.
You then assign permissions in the tree for the departments content branch. There is a good doc floating around for this written by Sauce Design in Orange -- I've been meaning to get into online for an age now.
