Gavs right. For a "whole of site" makeover you'd be better off replicating the database.

Yeah, that's how I'd do it....

make a whole new installation of farcry at something like http://newsite.yourdomain.com

then take a backup of your database, and upload it again over the
blank database in your new installation.

Then copy all your code from the current site to the newsite.

Then do a search and replace for your old application name to your new
application name in your code. This would just be to look for any hard
coded references in cfmodules or cfimports.

That should do it... unless i've missed the point?
