I am using the Aura template, and haven't changed the child links container name. So in my standard page the container label is landing_childlinks, and the standard page is what every page on the site uses except for the home page.

But even if I return to one specific page (i.e., Committees), sometimes the child links are there, but then once they disappear I have to go in and create a rule in order for it to reappear.

do they come and go on the same page or different pages? if so, check
the way you have named the container - the rules apply to containers
of the same name; so if a container uses a variable in its name, like
objectID or sectionName, then the rule will apply to that and
therefore not show everywhere that you have a container on a template.

We are not displaying individual calendar items. I am trying to display
the small calendar, where days are highlighted when activities are
present. And the calendar or child links seem to disappear at random
times.

I have setup the rule for the container by viewing the page (while
logged in) and setting up the rules. Is there a better way?

I have been trying to find an answer to this question, but haven't
been able to...

I have set rules for the Event Calendar and Child Links, however, they

are not being saved for long periods of time, or no consistent time
period for that matter. I go through the routine of creating the
rules, but at some point in the future that rule is no longer
existent.

No one else has access to these items. We are running v220.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
