I think this may be a FarCry 2.2 bug with global containers. What may be happening is on approval of a DRAFT page a blank container (created for that DRAFT page) is being sent live over the top of your populated container. I believe this is fixed in 2.3 and may well be fixed in the latest 2.2 patch branch but I'm not sure.
