I posted a question about a month ago asking how to
extend/modify what info is displayed within generic admin. Andrew was kind
enough to post an initial answer. However as we dug a little deeper it seems
that I was left with only two options. Either recreate all of my extended
types as custom types so that I can mimick the display of the generic admin with
my own modifications. Or modify the core generic admin file. I can’t recreate
all of the data that has been rolled into my extended types again into custom
types so it seems my only option is to modify the core. I really don’t
want to mess with the core files for a number of reasons, not the least which
is having to remember to redo those modifications when an upgrade to farcry
takes place. Does anyone have any advice? I need to turn off certain columns
as well as add in columns of data pertaining to the specific additions that I’ve
made to the various types when I extended them. Thanks for any advice. jaci You are currently subscribed to farcry-dev as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ |
