I have written to this list before about this . One person answered that he
had also experienced the same problem.
The Farcry tree get�s totally messed up. Reglardless if it�s the
dmNavigation or categories. A person spent several hours adding categories
to this new site, now it�s all totally gone. I don�t know why this isn�t
considered as a major bug??
Whe had categories like this...
- Football
\ League1
\ Team1
\ Player1
\ League2
- Icehockey
He moved Icehockey to the top. Making it like this...
- Icehockey
- Football
\ League1
\ Team1
\ Player1
\ League2
He also moved some other things around. It got messy and I had to fix the
tree with the admin functions. It all looked fine in the tree after i�ve
fixed it all. Then, he deleted Icehockey for some reson, and the whole
Football tree disappeared!
I�ve been working on a different server while developing this site, now I�m
moving it to the production environment. I can�t move the database since the
site navigation is totally wrong there and nothing happens when I use "move
up" and so on and because that I have to rebuild everything.
I know that you should wait for the page to reload when you move a node up
and down. I do that, also told my friend to do the same.
Anyway, now I gotta start adding those god damn categories one more time!
