Gavin - Tim Lucas had sent me the following:

<cfset qNav = application.factory.oTree.getBloodline(...)>

<cimport taglib="/farcry/myapplication/tags" prefix="mytags">
<mytags:fourqtree qnav="#qNav#">

And in a later email:

<cfscript>
qNav = application.factory.oTree.getBloodLine(
objectID = request.navid
jointable = 'dmNavigation',
levelsabove = 99,
levelsbelow = 1,
status = request.lvalidstatus);
</cfscript>

It just causes a blank page to appear when I add the first lot of code to
the standard display template.
