In FriendlyURLServlet.java, around line 176, there's a note that the error URL has been deprecated. Why is that? What is SUPPOSED to happen when someone types in an address that FU catches but doesn't have a map for? Personally, I would like the user to get a page not found message or something like that.
I have multiple farcry webs on a single server. Thye FU url pattern in web.xml is /go/*. The farcry webs have url patterns like /go/web01/ or /go/web02/. When someone enters the url that doesn't have a mapping, such as http://server/go/ or http://server/go/web01/anywhere-that-doesnt-exist/, the page that gets displayed is home page of web02! (http://server/go/web02/)
Any ideas? Am I experiencing a bug in FU or in Farcry? Or in my own settings?
I think the reality is FU was really designed having a single FarCry application per web site in mind. Is there any reason why you can't run web01.server/go/* and web02.server/go/*
