We have a number of environments (development, integration, test, certification, training, and production). Some are single servers some are mulitple servers behind a load balancer.
I had created Verity collections on one server behind a load balancer and copied to the other server on that load balancer and theings worked fine. Now I am copying those collections to some of the other environments and I am getting no search results. Is there something I need to do in FarCry or ColdFusion administration to get FarCry/Verity to use the collections?
The CF server needs to understand what and where the verity collection is -- that is, you need to register the verity collection with each CF server. This is typically done on collection creation. However, there is a Verity XML document lurking around in the CF install that defines these relationships: something like C:\CFusionMX\lib\neo-verity.xml
Try replicating/copying the XML config file for better success.
