Hi Jens, first thanks for your answer! > from my limited knowledge it is not recommended to change code in > farcry_core.
That's right, but this way to install farcry and my changes need a little change at the core files. It works also without these changes. > Usually you have two mappings (in the not root dir configuration at > least) in IIS like: > /farcry -> ..\farcry_core\admin > /<applicationname> -> ..\<applicationname> OK, that's it by the normal installation of FarCry by using the standard farcry_aura files. But I use the farcry_aura file from this site http://www.spike.org.uk/farcry_demo.zip and hoped that any other use them also. > (dont confuse these mappings with the CF ones) OK > then you can browse to your login with http://your.server.de/farcry > and to your site with http://your.server.de/<applicationname> This is exactly what I don't want. I would like to have 2 "url's" 1. http://admin.mydomain.de this one point to the admin area 2. http://www.mydomain.de this point to the web area > therefore the path you mentioned is never available as URL > (www.mydomain.de/farcry/farcry_core/admin...) Has any other of you folks an idea what to do to fix my problem??
