Micha, the speed is most likely due to increased caching values in ColdFusion MX 6.1. (see also: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_17054) I increased 'Maximum number of cached templates' to 4096 and 'Maximum number of cached queries' to 1000. Actually i didnt really use facry-caching (skin:cache) , but i will look to implement this in the near future, as soon as i fixed all the current content/link bugs ;-) The database connection is a type IV driver for MSSQL2000 and is fast as well.
