And the problem is this:

All of my sites are named after their domains, ergo I have a 
www.geodesicgrafx.com for the folder name.  Well, that completely fritzes out 
one of the scope variables since it calls farcry.www.geodesicgrafx.com.types, 
which is wrong.  

Sooooo... Is this worthy of going into the bug system?  It's not really a bug, 
but mayhap it would be worthwhile to mention it in one of the docs.  "Do not 
name your sites with like www.<something>.<somehting>"
