From what my client is telling me this is not the case; he had to put
the same permissions on the linked node.
I suspect the client is correct.
The security check for a node is done before the display. I believe its
just before display that the system determines where the symlink is
pointing to. I suspect we could retest the dmnavigation permissions
once the parent dmnavigation is switched.
This should probably be flagged as a bug -- either as a needs
clarification or a code change. Please add this to the
http://bugs.farcrycms.com issue tracker.
