You need to call the FarCry API and make it get the content for you.
Use something like the FourQ "contentObjectGet" method (digging in the code for how this is used will give you a better understanding of how some parts of FarCry work).
The data comes back in a structure, which you then pull out the parts you need - like the body or the teaser, etc. What is in the structure differs from type to type. So use CFDUMP to have a look at what is in there and get out what you need.

reference the html content directly, I know that within a page I would
reference the GUID with eg. #application.navid.Disclaimer# but I would
only need the html part of this, in this case, lets say I added a
title or teaser as well to the utility.
