I can think of ways of doing this (on the brief spec provided).....
Firstly, you would set up virtual domains for each of the sites that all point to the same FarCry instance (because you will need to get the data out of the same database).
If all the HTML pages will be the same, then I would consider a special set of FarCry rules for the other content types and mount them using a container. The special rules would look at the domain of the site and automatically choose a FarCry "category" for the set of items it should display. Then - for any of the items like News, Events, Links, etc. (in fact any derived type that can be put into a category) - you will get that information tailored to the domain.
You can still use other categories that you have created because a FarCry object can be in more than one category. Or, you could duplicate your categories under each "domain" category. I would personally opt for NOT duplicating as it will become a maintenance nightmare (and just use the combination of the "domain" category and any "other" categories that you might have).
There are other ways of doing this. You could create "domain specific" containers (i.e. name the container dynamically so it is partially componsed of the domain) and then you could go into the "design" mode while in that domain and tell it what items should be displayed (but you would still end up relying on categories to filter the items).
Hope this has been of some help.

Gary

My company has asked me to deploy multiple websites for multiple countries

Can far cry do this?
I'm new to farcry and CMS in general. Any help would be much appreciated.
