I was using the darcs repository. I have it compiling now, I was missing the JThread library (my bad when reading the error messages). However now when I compile gst-plugins-farsight, and install it, and then run gst-inspect-0.10 I get: ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file: /usr/local/lib/gstreamer-0.10//libgstjasper.so
The same occurs for every shared library in the directory. I've only just started investigating this, but if someone has any pointers please let me know. Nigel. PS. Is there any objections to me making a wiki page listing these required libraries (JThread+JRTP+their URLs), and other quickstart notes? (once I get it all running of course) On Wed, 2006-01-25 at 17:08 +0200, Kai Vehmanen wrote: > On Wed, 25 Jan 2006, Nigel Sim wrote: > > > Which JRTP lib is required to compile rtpbin in gst-plugins-farsight? > > I've tried the official 3.4.0 version, as well as the old one from the > > Farsight CVS tree, but neither work.
