In your response you said that only API's related to setting source/sink were
dropped in FS2 , can you please explain it more , In fact i'm still using FS1 ,
and i've got some troubles in setting cameras as sources and displaying on my
device fb0, do you recommand me to move to FS2 , or this pb have nothing to do
with the version of farsight.

In the source tree, there is python/example.py (the minimal example) as
well as test/gui/fs2-gui.py (a complex/complete example). You may also
want to look at the fs2 port of telepathy stream-engine [1].

I don't think any significant API has been dropped, except those related
to setting sinks/sources, since fs2 is a regular gstreamer element.

The API is not frozen, but the API in the git trunk are pretty cold (I
should make a release, I know..). I'd really appreciate people to test
it and see what problems there are.

No, Fs1 and Fs2 are entirely separate. But they currently both depend on
gst-plugins-farsight.
