Hi,

If you want to target the N900, I advise you to look at the SDK. It has
farsight2 and a much newer version of GStreamer. The Farsight2 API is
quite different from the Farsight1 API.


But from your email, I'm guessing you're targetting the N8x0 platforms.
In that case, you're probably right to try to use Farsight1. That said,
I'm really unsure if the hold functionality works there. The Farsight
code in Maemo 4 is a bit of a mess and has not been maintained for over
a year... Maybe you will have more luck using telepathy-stream-engine
for the streaming part? Although, I'm not sure if the stream-engine in
diablo implement holds. If it doesn't, then it probably does not work.
