Hi all, I’m curious to know what you all use to test the performance of Faust code. Is there a simple tool to measure cpu-cycles-per-sample, or some other metric?
I’m working on a fairly complex noise-generator right now, and I suspect there are optimizations I could do to make the results easier to compute. But I also know that the Faust compiler is pretty smart about optimizing … so I’d like to measure which of my optimizations have an effect.
