I was indeed out the of RTFM zone. All I had to do was:
sudo make all -j4 && sudo make all install
Now symbols are no longer missing from the libfaust.so, and FaucK is
working.
Please excuse the noise...

Actually, deleteDSPFactory and createDSPFactoryFromString are
missing from libfaust.so...
I compiled Faust and libfaust from the latest git repo, using cmake
and llvm-8.
What could be wrong?
