Hi all,

Tonight I finally got Makefile.mspcompile to build without errors by
installing the latest version of the XCode developer tools (Late October
2013 release). It seems that when i installed the XCode IDE for Mac OS 10.9
(Mavericks), it managed to break g++ somehow. Re-installing the latest OS X
10.9 developer tools did the trick.

Thanks everyone for all of your help and suggestions. I'm back in business
now.

best,
Andrew
