Is it possible in faust currently to skew a slider so that it has a log 
response? I would like to declare parameters like this

rate = hslider("Rate [unit:hz] [OWL:PARAMETER_A]", 0.01, 0., 1, 0.1);

but weight it so that when it is mapped to a control on the OWL pedal, it is 
much easier to dial in low frequencies. I realise I could make an arbitrary 
mapping in my code, but it is important for formats such as VST that the 
readout value in Hz still works.

In IPlug this is achieve with a “shape” value for each parameter which allows 
you to skew the response:
