I've got a small doubt about the dB unit of this code (vumeter):
vmeter(x) = attach(x, envelop(x) : vbargraph("[unit:dB]", -50, 6));
envelop = abs : max(db2linear(-50)) : linear2db : min(6) : max
~ -(80.0/SR);
process=vmeter;
The unit is dBFS ? i.e. when it's above 0, the signal is clipped ? Why
there is the recursion with ~-(80.0/SR) ?
