As maintainer of the AUR faust2-git package I should add that I'm also
running Manjaro with exactly the same (latest) revision of the llvm35
package from the official Manjaro repositories, but unfortunately (or
fortunately, depending how you look at it) I can't reproduce the linkage
problem Steve has been experiencing.
If you take a look at the end of Steve's build log at
http://pastebin.com/EAiQmPMS, you can see that the problem occurs while
linking the faust executable against the libLLVM-3.5.2.so from Manjaro's
llvm35-libs package (as Steve reported, only with the latest package
revision, 3.5.2-3). It's a somewhat peculiar problem as only a few of the
library functions are missing. Looks like a faulty library (or wrong header
files) to me, but for the live of me I can't reproduce it on my system, so
if anyone has a clue what's happening there, I'd appreciate any ideas.
Steve, could you also please upload your /usr/lib/libLLVM-3.5.2.so and the
llvm35-libs-3.5.2-3 and llvm35-3.5.2-3 packages from your pacman cache
somewhere so that I can see whether they differ from what I have on my
system? Thanks.
