Max7 works fine for me, using either the vst~ object or plugins created with
the plugin browser (left toolbar). The sliders move smoothly and do what
they're supposed to. That's Max 7.3.1 on an older MB Pro running Yosemite
(10.10).
But I can reproduce your issue with Live 9.7.1. Controls via the XY thingy work
fine, as does clicking on the controls in the device parameter section, but the
controls lock up as soon as you start dragging them. You might want to file a
bug report at https://bitbucket.org/agraef/faust-vst/issues, then I'll look
into it as soon as I find the time.
