Well done to the IFC team for a great conference! At some point there was a discussion about what is missing from the DSP library, and the topic of “zero delay feedback" filters came up.
I am also curious if these could be done in FAUST, but it’s a bit beyond my math and FAUST algebra ability… If anyone is able to convert this nice SVF to FAUST code, that would be cool. Here is a C++ implementation i did: https://gist.github.com/olilarkin/0d53ed61955ebd74c116564bb383c777 <https://gist.github.com/olilarkin/0d53ed61955ebd74c116564bb383c777> Based on the pseudo code in this paper: http://www.cytomic.com/files/dsp/SvfLinearTrapOptimised2.pdf <http://www.cytomic.com/files/dsp/SvfLinearTrapOptimised2.pdf> More references: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=350246 <https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=350246> https://urs.silvrback.com/zero-delay-feedback <https://urs.silvrback.com/zero-delay-feedback> https://cycling74.com/forums/zero-delay-feedback-svf-in-gen <https://cycling74.com/forums/zero-delay-feedback-svf-in-gen> http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/Csnd-ANN-zdf-svf-zero-delay-feedback-state-variable-filter-td5751102.html <http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/Csnd-ANN-zdf-svf-zero-delay-feedback-state-variable-filter-td5751102.html> Oli
