Thank you for your fast reply! :-)
This would require require an adaptation the LV2 C++ architecture file AFAICS.
Does this mean, Midi in Faust is not supported for LV2 at the moment?
The MIDI synchronization part yes.
Oh, such a pity. What about other plugin formats like vst, dssi, ladspa
(presuming, i would get any of them to compile properly, what did not
happen until now) - does any of them support MIDI sync?
Could t be an issue with your ALSA setup?
Do you have any produced core dump file to send?
I had no problems with ALSA, but i'm afraid, i don't really know. where should
i begin? Jack applications don't work as well.
After a while of searching the internet for "core dump files", i finally
managed it, to find the directory where they are stored... ;-) but how can i open them or
extract any useful information out of these files?
i attached a core dump file to this email, which was created after an
unexpected termination of a jack-qt4-64bit app, which i created in faust.
thank you for your help!
Ii the problem only occurring with Faust generated ALSA/JACK applications?
Does regular ALSA applications work ? Does regular JACK applications work ?
Stéphane
Yes, it only seems to occur with Faust applications, standalone
applications like Guitarix for JACK or ALSA Modular Synth for ALSA run
without issues.
I found out how to use "coredumpctl" and "gdb" to get some information
of the core dump files, but i don't know, how to interpret that
(something about "Stack Trace " and hexa numbers in it) - i copied the
output into a file, which i attached to this email.
Thank you!
Joe
