is the 'starter pack' going to be in dead-tree or electronic form?
The idea is to get a dead tree folder with some material we write and any freebies we can get from interested organisations (flyers, postcards, badges, CDs), with links to electronic resources. We'll then have an envelope stufffing party and get stuff sent out in time for the start of term.
also, given the recent criticisms of the fc-uk wiki, would it be worth trying to put together a FC4S microsite that is 'friendlier' in appearance?
We really do need a friendlier front page and better navigation. iCommons's front page is the sort of thing I have in mind. And FC4S (better name suggestions gratefully accepted) will need a subsite, yes.
OK what are our next steps? Do any of the organisations on this list have any publicity materials they can let us have 150-200 of in a month or so, and can anyone get in touch with CC/whoever to try to blag goodies off of them?
