 Hi David

 This is actually the correct behavior. Although it is common practice to
 write "?var1=val1&var2=val2&var3=val3&..." inside the href attribute, the
 & sign doesn't [http://validator.w3.org/ validate] in respect to XHTML
 1.1. Writing "&amp;" instead of "&" validates and doesn't change the
 meaning of the attribute value.
