Actually this would be a good idea.
This feature in the current release can be confusing for the user. Here's
why:
Lets say that we have inserter an image and we want to insert a link which
target is the popup window. So we select the image and press Insert/Edit
Link. We fill the form and set the target to <popup window> and insert the
link. And that is of course OK.
But after inserting a link if you go to the Image Properties and view the
Link tab you will see that the target is set to <not set> which is
incorrect.
