I've tested this issue using MW 1.11.2 and 1.12 and latest FCKeditor SVN
extension and the bug doesn't occur there when inserting links both using
IE and FF2. I will try to install MW 1.11.0 and see if the bug occurs
there. I would suggest you to upgrade to a newer version of MW which is
this bug free.
