Hi all - not sure if I have the right place, but looking for some guidance. I have a laptop with no OS. Would like to load WinNT 4.0, which according to the documentation I have, is what was previously on it. When I first turned on the machine, system info came up, then it said Default: F? Well, needless to say, nothing I entered would do anything. I hit F1, which now changed the message to F1...Hpfs Default: F1 Loading FreeDOS... Root.
I have not tried to boot with setup disks yet, and I am pretty sure the drive is not partitioned. Have I done something bad by pressing F1?? Any help here would be appreciated.
