Well, Although I am not AWARE of any 500gb drives, Fujistsu recently announced their 320 GB, 2.5 inch (notebook sized) 7200 RPM Drive with HARDWARE 256 AES embedded into the drive.
This small drive is ideal for portability. Just whack em into an external enclosure. Hell! Buy two, to make up to your 500 GB.
