Well,

Although I am not AWARE of any 500gb drives, Fujistsu recently announced
their 320 GB, 2.5 inch (notebook sized) 7200 RPM Drive with HARDWARE 256 AES
embedded into the drive.

This small drive is ideal for portability. Just whack em into an external
enclosure. Hell! Buy two, to make up to your 500 GB.

Hope that helps.

Subject: SPAM-LOW: [FDE] External Drive Encryption

I'm in the market for a 500 GB external drive with built in hardware
encryption. Anyone have any suggestions for such a drive? I haven't been
able to find much with google. Software solutions that I've looked at all
tie the drive to the machine that it was initially encrypted on, and to me
that defeats the purpose of a "mobile" external drive. Any help would be
appreciated, thanks!
