Hi,
I agree that tips are not really of much use as everything can come up
in these exams but the equity tips from Independent Colleges are as
follows;
injunctions - interlocutory quia timet, mareva or anton pillar (better
to know all of injunctions though)
specific performance is a likely question
recission nearly always on
rectification - possible half q
dmc and Stong v Bird - hard to predict but worthwhile to do them
secret trust are due
charitable trusts nearly always up
resulting trusts - quistclose and joint deposits maybe
trusteeship
property rights of cohabitees (I'm not too sure about this one myself
and may not have time to cover it)
and for criminal;
homicide, nfoap, sexual offences, property offences, public order
offences (have to cover as issues from all of those areas arise in
various questions)
Definition of a crime, ar and mr (essay q likely to come up from one
of those areas)
procedure
defences (must know inside out!)
They went through particular areas of the chapters but really it's
hard to know what will come up.
Best of luck to you!!!
