I saw that too and it was not covered in my Griffith notes but according to the Nutshells book; the limitation period may be satisfied by the occupation of a series of squatters, eg, 7 yrs by one squatter followed by 5yrs by another. However if there is a gap in time between the two periods of AP they cannot be added together to extinguish the owners title.
