Hey folks, first time posting here, although reading over threads for the last few weeks has proven really helpful, so thanks. Just started the FE1 course in Independent. I'm studying all 8 subjects but this is only revision for Constitutional, Contract, Criminal and Property as I've done them before. I'm neither clever enough nor naive enough to attempt 8 FE1s in one sitting so I intend to do 5 in March/April and do the remaining ones (hopefully only 3!) next October.
What I'm deciding now is which five to do first. I really want to have picked them by Christmas so that, while I'll continue going to lectures and doing the homework for all 8, I'll know which ones really require my attention. I'm sure ye understand this isn't a decision I want to put off till the last minute! The original plan was to do the four above that I'm most familiar with (at this stage anyway) and one other, but now I'm rethinking it. Also, I'm worried that some of these all-important manuals Independent have given me will be pretty obsolete by next October. For example, I can't imagine Contract Law changing dramatically (though maybe I'm wrong!), but Constitutional and Tort, say, could catch me out if I left them too late. So does anyone know which of the manuals don't change too much between sittings and would be most relevant and up-to-date in October 09? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "FE-1 Study Group" group.
