quality over quantity, size does not matter!! Seriously you should know already from your studies that a Q is never write all you know but the Q will have a slant that you need to address to score well.
There's no hard and fast rule on the length of an answer, time is your best gauge for that ie you have 35 min max to answer an Fe1 Q, intro, main body and a conclusion within that time. Re the legislation bit, you should know this from your degree. It's not necessary or practical to learn off legislation and re-cite it in an exam nor is it necesary to learn off quotes from judgments. Your own words is sufficient. Most of the Fe1s you can bring in the relevant legislation so simply copying it out is not going to get you any marks.
