I know its a bit early to be mentioning this, but everyone is talking about how they did on the exams. I sat my last ones this time last year and i knew which ones i felt i had passed and failed. Make sure you remember which ones you are happy with and why, try to figure out how well you think you did.
When the results came out they were the other way around and it wasnt the first time this happened to me. I knew something was wrong. So i got a re-check and passed them all :) they can't mark you down only up so its win win. It might cost about as much as the exams but it saves you six months and the cost of going on the courses again.. .. . unless it takes them so long you have already paid :( If you get say 48 or 49% you tend not to improve, if you are in the lower 40s you will find you can make quite a jump, one of my classmates got an extra 14% on one re-check, which makes you wonder if they missed a whole answer. My biggest improvement was 9%. If you see a surprisingly lower result than you expected don't get disheartened, get it re-checked. I would definately advise people to try and figure out what sort of marks they should get, be realistic about it and then to get re-checks if the results are very different, its well worth it. ...hmmm actually no....what am i saying, that will only increase the competition for apprenticeships, buggery, why you johnny come lately's ruining it for me (shakes fist) drink more booze and arrive at the exams stylishly late... its the only way --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "FE-1 Study Group" group.
