But their child wouldn't be an Irish citizen. Referendum a few years
back meant that to be Irish citizen a child born here had to have an
Irish parent plus Irish SC decision of Lobe and Osayande held that
Article 41 of the constitution did not mean that parents were capable
of deriving residence rights from their children.
