Lisbon treaty, yuck!!!! (but that's not for here :) Have you signed up for any courses yet?
Everyone is different, and I found constitutional very interesting, and basically it's a nice one, but it is really long and can be hard to study for because with this one, certain case names are absolutely vital, and in some areas you will see that many cases are similar but for one (very relevant) difference. It's a bit of a tricky one. I've never done EU here before (I did in Spain, but not here in Ireland), and I've been told it's nasty!!! Contract is a good choice. It's pretty straightforward, it can be a bit dry, but the syllabus is short and it is very easy to study for. Have you considered maybe going for Criminal and Equity rather than EU and Constitutional? Criminal is "fun" (as fun as college stuff can be - but once you're learned the stuff, answering questions is addictive! How nerdy is that?) and Equity is just a pleasant subject and it isn't too tricky. I studied those because a few lecturers had recommended them to me (and they are probably the ones I would have gone for first, anyway)... . I dunno, that's what I would suggest... :-/ On Wed, Nov 4, 2009 at 2:23 PM, Brian Foley BL <[email protected]>wrote: > > We're giving the courses on the basis that Lisbon is examinable as of > today's news re the Czech Republic. > > Brian > > GCD > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jen > Sent: 04 November 2009 10:11 > To: FE-1 Study Group > Subject: Re: Constitutional, EU and Contract Manuals > > > Good idea, cheers.
