There is a reasonable (not huge) overlap between contract and equity -
i.e. mistake, specific performance, estoppel etc.

Indeed, on the occasions where the contract examiner has gone beyond
the syllabus and examined proprietary estoppel, you would have had no
problem as its done in equity.

It's not such a huge overlap to save you massive work, but its enough
this close to the exams I'd say to make that choice worthwhile.
