Hi

Sure you have seen the text of the 2009 provisions at
http://www.attorneygeneral.ie/eAct/2009/a2009.pdf

I don't think I would bother with getting the new version just for that. Check
out what is said about directors' loans and enhanced powers of the ODCE. Also,
the removal of requirement for an Irish resident director. There is also a
useful summary here:

http://www.accountingnet.ie/law_regulation/Companies_Amendment_Act_2009.php

Good luck with the studies!

Subject: Companies Act 1963-2006 ok for this years exam?

Basically i can get hold of this in the library for free whereas
splashing out for the new one would cost €90. Just getting stuck into
the company course now so not sure how relevant/important the 2009
amendment is? Any advice from more experienced fe-1 peeps would be
much appreciated!
