Guys, Just to point out - the updates for our own materials for students paying to take the courses are specifically licensed and, indeed, watermarked with the name of the downloading student. Given the atrocious level of piracy (in particular, the recent attempt on board and other fora to sell for reward mp3 rips of lecturers, videos etc) over materials which cost a lot of money to develop, GCD is now very active in trying to prevent and where prevention is impossible, in following up on this kind of thing and tracking down responsible parties.
We specifically put the students name on the download of this material (it has been provided online) for this reason. On the one hand, I understand that people want to pass exams, but on the other hand, we have paying students who pay considerable monies for services supposed to put them in a position of advantage (which they do). I tried to reach something of a halfway house with the special 1-day course for EU which includes materials on just this point for €150 coupled with the discount for this group which is less than you would pay to attend a conference seminar on Lisbon updates. I do think that GCD (or any students receiving similar updates in ICD, Westland etc) are at a considerable advantage to those who have to look up Lisbon themselves, but I would be shocked that any student would be willing to give up that advantage. That is the reason that people pay for the courses. Privately, I wish that this material could be made available for free and that everyone who would put in the work could pass these exams and that everyone responsible for the material was guaranteed a fair wage. However, I do have to "stand up" at this point for our own rights in material that is expensive to produce and entirely licensed to the downloading student.
