I went for an interview at Goodbodys (i got the internship yay) and they asked me if i had any opinions on stuff in the newspaper atm, i spoke about the public sectors strikes, i think they just wanted to see that i had an opinion on it and how i put that across if u know what i mean???
i had a habit of playing with my bracelet which i didnt waer in. ummmmm o and i sat down and thought of all possible questions they could ask me? like wen sumone says, tell me about urself if ur nervous u can be like eh eh eh and that sounds unprepared so i prepared alil bit on each q i thought theyd ask!! and then wen they asked me did i have questions for them about the firm i asked about progression (like for me the possibility of getting a traineeship out of a summer internship) cuz that shows ur driven and i also said i dont want to ask too much cuz i understood i was cuming in at the bottom of the ladder and to work my up is the best way to learn, cuz that shows ur humble and dont mind doing the crappy jobs to work ur way up??? i think u have to be urself, they asked me was i nervous and i told them i was bricking it and we laughed and that actually relaxed me?? theyre not out to trick u, think of it as a chat and be urself!! that was a good half an hr of putting of study, thanks!
