I have a much lower bar. I’ll talk to anybody, about any milestone, small or large. I’m far more interested in telling stories than in specific milestones. What I’m doing right now is watching https://projects.apache.org/json/foundation/releases.json and sending a message to any project that 1) has done a release in the past week and 2) which I haven’t done an interview with in a while. So right now I’m talking with Superset and Airflow about their recent releases, neither of which were major versions, but I’ve not talked with Airflow in 5 years, and I’ve never talked with Superset. In the case of Shiro, I hadn’t talked with them in a year, but they (specifically, Lenny) reached out to me to do the interview. I am trying *really hard* to get back into a weekly cadence, which is pretty challenging, so I’m trying to build up a little bit of a backlog. Also, I’ve updated this page - https://plusone.apache.org/about/ - which broadly outlines the kind of interviews I want to do. I want to do more of the “Why” type interviews, but they tend to take more preparation and recruiting. So that’s next on the list. Feel free to send anyone my way if you have ideas. — Rich Bowen [email protected]
