This is because at first Echo was developed with Illustrator (Diana's
choice) and Illustrator such for SVG, so the shadow was added later as
raster.
In the meantime Inkscape got the Gaussian Blur filter (long time ago,
over half year) so this should be used to create the shadow.
2. how do you make a icon "isometric" in inkscape? is there a tutorial
for that somewhere?
I think there was somewhere a SVG with a grid to import and draw using
it as a reference.
